At just 7 years old, Roman McCone has made a huge impact on the lives of over 1,300 dogs and 50 cats, earning him the title of “Child of the Year” from the ASPCA! 🏆🐶🐱 This young hero from Augusta, Georgia, has been rescuing animals since the age of 4, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference.

It all started on Roman’s 4th birthday when he asked his friends and family not to give him presents but instead to donate money to an animal rescue organization. His love for animals was so strong that he wanted to give dogs and cats the chance to find their forever homes. 🐾❤️

Roman’s efforts soon grew into Project Freedom Ride—an organization dedicated to rescuing and transporting animals from overcrowded shelters in Georgia and Texas to new homes in Washington and beyond. 🚚✨ With the help of his mom Jennifer and his family, Roman has been able to save hundreds of lives and find loving families for many deserving animals.

Roman’s passion is truly inspiring. He believes every dog and cat deserves a better life, and he’s hopeful that other kids will join him in helping animals in need. 🌍🐾 Watch the full story to see Roman in action and hear his message to the world!
